Who we are

This website is run by Playful Tools (“we”, “us”), based in Singapore. If you have any question about this policy or your personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer at alvinlee@playfultools.com.

What we collect

We only collect the personal data you choose to give us, for example when you send an enquiry through this website, email or call us, register interest in a course, or ask to join our Live Chat Group. This may include your name, organisation, email address, phone number and the details in your message.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and give you the information you asked for.
• To plan and deliver the programmes, courses, kits or books you ask us about.
• To invite you to the Live Chat Group, if you ask to join.
• For administration such as quotations, invoices and records we must keep by law.

We will not send you marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

Enquiries sent through this website

When you send the enquiry form, your details are emailed to us and also kept on our website’s server, in an area that only we can sign in to, so that no enquiry is lost if an email goes astray. To protect the form from spam, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address for one hour; it cannot be turned back into the address.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our email and website hosting providers, and only as far as they need it to provide that service. We may also disclose it where the law requires us to.

The Live Chat Group

The Live Chat Group runs on Telegram and WeChat, which are operated by third parties under their own privacy policies. Anything you post in the group can be seen by its other members, so please do not share confidential or sensitive information there.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Fonts on this website are provided by Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete it or make it anonymous.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure or loss.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent for us to use it, by emailing alvinlee@playfultools.com. If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to help with your enquiry.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
